De Lepelaar is a real neighborhood school. We give traditional education with a touch of innovation. For example, from group 4 we use chromebooks to strengthen our lessons, we use moving learning in our education and we work twice a year on a school-wide project. In addition, we work closely with the playgroup to establish a continuous learning trajectory.

Below are some of our spearheads:

- Strengthen numeracy education; how do we teach and how do we make sure we get the most out of our students.
- Reading/listening comprehension; how do we ensure that our children not only read a text, but also understand what it says. What do you do if you don't understand and how do you filter information that is given.
- Social emotional education; with this we want to achieve that our children can indicate their boundaries, respect each other's boundaries and express their feelings.
